Antoine DURENNE (1822 – 1895) He studied at the Arts et Métiers until 1841 then at the School of Fine Arts in 1842. He was a founding member of the National School of Decorative Arts. In 1857, he bought the Sommevoire foundry in Haute Marne. He won numerous awards at the Universal Exhibitions in Paris in 1867 and Vienna in 1873. He was made a knight of the Legion of Honor in 1862.
